Consulting is a favorite opportunity of mine that allows me to use my skill set in business management and marketing consulting to uplevel business initiatives. I enjoy marketing, I like visibility, visibility, helps to actually reach the customer, with visual tools, and also is a good, unique, way to feature customer bios, which is important, to put a face, with the brand, or just to highlight personality. I believe visibility is very important. I'm happy to be a business consultant. Entrepreneurship means being creative, innovative, and actually helping others, to insight creativity and business development.
Cynthia Crosby, MBA Business Consultant, EntrepreneurAs a business person, I pursued my MBA in Marketing, and I am happy, I took that opportunity to uplevel my career. I was at a specific standpoint, about you know what, career credential, or career level, I wanted to obtain an MBA, which is actually a career milestone that I'm happy that I took, in education, personal development, and professional development. So generally marketing is a normal type of work that I work in. Now, I work in marketing each day, I promote and market business products and consumer goods. Also as a brand manager, promoting brands, and products, features and benefits, to consumers is really fun. New product launches, new business campaigns, it's very helpful, and helps to teach customers, the like know and interest factor, about the brand. What's good, about the brand, and what's the brand, all about, and so that's what I do in my career as a consultant, marketing promotions, product launches, and visibility, and presenting. I think that working as a consultant is a good milestone, and a career profile that I see myself continuing in long-term. I'm happy about my profession, PR is also my first love, visibility, public relations, the media, assisting businesses, with their community relations, and media relations, and goals is a continuous improvement and innovative way and mannerism that communications management assists. I'm a good strategic planner too! I have a lot of different, unique skill sets and competencies that I think are very invaluable.
I like to read, so I'm a reader. I like professional development books. I am launching a Monthly Book Club with a Weekly Reader Series too. I think it's important, in professional development, if it's not podcasting, or listening to a professional development tool, within career alignment. It helps to uplevel career interest and help to teach unique, and specific skill sets, that may need to be honed. So I am launching a Monthly Book Club, for Business Professionals, that includes different business books, and different topics, like AI, Mindfulness, Creativity, and also Leadership. So I will be sharing, and consulting on those topics on my social media page, and incorporating professional development books, I have a data center, library full, so stay tuned. I also will be cultivating a group, to share, in the discussion, and Facebook Group or possibly, even a Slack Group, which is really nice, Slack has a good platform, and so we will be launching, that kind of like a Bookstagram, too. Stay tuned for those opportunities, to learn more, and to participate, in business development, and learning, in business, and being a part of the bookclub.
I am currently reading Inclusive Leadership, Shirley Davis, PhD, Wiley Books, discovered in my Doctoral Studies more on this later. I will begin the bookclub with a Weekly Reader, the perfect professional development book to read during the week or listen to on Audiobook. With tips and strategies from the book and commentary from me online via my Facebook Page, and Book Discussions via Facebook Group.
